Hi,

Just a suggestion that would benefit the Swann community in regards to viewing there CCTV on there Android TV devices via ethernet. Similiar to the Nest app.

Which would be a more universal way then buying expensive hdmi cords and wifi only devices ( Phones and Tablets) to view there security cameras.

I know that the Google home chromecast feature has been implemented but this would be a much faster at viewing and have support for earlier DVR's / NVR's.

So in conclusion I would like to hear the community's thoughts about this.

Cheers.

Try VLC for Android TV and use RTSP fuction from DVR and network stream via VLC player ..it can also apply motion detection filter which highlights movement with fine white box frames

Still would prefer that Swann would integrate this into the new Swann application that has just been released.
