Password change

I have the dvr nvr8-7400 and I’m trying to change my password and every time I try to put the new password it says incorrect password even though I know it’s correct because I logged in to my phone and it’s the right password. I’ve tried the 12345 but still nothing. I have no problem resetting the system but will the cameras automatically connect? Just make a new profile? TIA

Apology for the inconvenience. May I know where are you trying to change the password, is it on the computer or on the actual NVR? If it is on the actual NVR, kindly click on "Password Reset Guide" for you to know how to reset the password.
