Email Not Working but I get a test email

I have model DVR-4575. When I "test email" I receive confirmation email, however, I am not receiving alarm/motion notifications by email.

The email schedule is set to send both motion and exception emails 24/7. I have checked the Log and cannot see any errors.

I have checked my spam folders and cannot see any emails.

Check the settings on the screenshot, copy the settings to all of the cameras.

If it is still the same:
  • Click on DEFAULT.
  • Put a check mark on Send E-mail.
  • Click COPY then SAVE.
  • Restart the DVR then trigger the cameras.
The only way I got mine to work after trying the advice was to replace my Google password with a new one....Then it worked!
